About PBS Studio
Everything you need to decide.
Your console stream, on your desktop
PBS Studio is a native client for the PBS payload running on a compatible, user-controlled PS4 or PS5 homebrew environment. Enter the console address, pick a source and watch the stream with GPU presentation and synchronized audio.
What it does
The desktop interface is built on Vulkan and GLFW and receives the payload's HTTP and RTP endpoints. It supports multiple sources, saved console profiles and the verified 720p, 1080p and 1440p profiles at 60 fps.
Licensed access
Real console sessions are unlocked by your Seregon Store account: the app opens your browser for pairing and checks your PBS Studio entitlement. No password is entered in the app.
Current scope
Requested bitrate is an encoder budget, not a guaranteed output rate. Native 4K, 120 fps and zero latency are not supported claims, and desktop upscaling does not add source detail. The payload endpoints are meant for a trusted local network and must not be exposed to the Internet. The console payload is a separate GPL-3.0-or-later project.
